Steps to Change your Twitter Handle

Step 1. Log in to your Twitter account
Log in with your Twitter account using the current username and password.

 

Step 2. Select the Settings options 

Click on the ‘more’ option in the bottom left. Now, select Settings and privacy. If you are accessing Twitter on the web, it will appear by default. However, in the case of the Twitter application, you will have to click on the account option.

Step 3: Change the Twitter Handle/Username

On the top right corner click on the ‘change username’ option. Here you can type your desired name. Make sure it is about  15 characters or less. You can also see suggestions below from where you can choose the username. If the username is already in use you will be prompted with a message immediately. 

Remember you can only use alphanumeric characters in your Twitter handle. Plus, you cannot use Twitter or admin for unofficial accounts.
